W. Clinton Brayle, Box 694, Ames, Okla., November 21: "We have concluded work with the church at Kiowa, Kans., and Riverside congregation near Kiowa. Next week will find us beginning to preach for the Antioch Church here at Ames. One was baptized at Kiowa last Lord's day."

Vaughn D. Shofner, 1506 Arnett St., Lubbock, Texas, November 15: "Last Sunday night, November 13, I concluded a meeting as Springdale, near Waynoka, Okla. The church in that locality is weak, having but one congregation within a range of hundreds of square miles strong enough to support a preacher full time. However, growth is being made in all ways. There were six adults baptized, and one renounced the errors of the Christian Church."

—O—

T. H. Tarbet, Box A, Hobbs, N. M., November 14: "We have had two more baptisms, bringing the total to twenty-six since May 15."

Hogland Debates Marrs Wayne L. Kee, 208 So. Witte St., Poteau, Okla., November 9: "Ward Hogland of the Park Hill Church, met Bert F. Marrs (Church of God, 7th day) in public debate at Poteau, Okla., from October 31 to November 4. There were two subjects under consideration—namely; The Sabbath and the Lord's day. Mr. Marrs is an old time debater for his group, and was the best that they had. This was Bro. Hogland's first debate. In spite of the difference in their experience, Bro. Hogland was master of the situation from start to finish. He made the truth stand out strongly, so much so that Mr. Marrs was mixed up from first to last. Bro. Hogland even had to tell him some of the scriptures that he was hunting. Bro. Hogland used a chart for his affirmative and Mr. Marrs was so confused that he tried to find something on the back side of it.

The church at Poteau feels that they could not have gotten a better man to defend the truth for them. Especially since he had just held a meeting here in August with more than 400 in attendance each evening. The debate was well attended, the house being full each evening."

Esten Macon, 226 East Church, Anderson, S. C., November 16: "I held four meetings this year as follows: Mac's House, in Cannon County, Tenn., July 10-17, with E. T. Brazsell directing the song services; Blue's Hill, in Warren County, Tenn., August 14-24, with Edd Williams, song director; Ruhamah School House, in Pickens County, S. C., September 11-18, with B. W. Reid directing the song services; and Gastonia, N. C., September 19-24, with Byrd Lewis, as song director. These were the best attended meetings in my career."

—O—

Chas. M. Campbell, Akron, Ohio, November 18: "One was restored at Brown Street last Lord's day, and one was baptized on November 7. On October 30, two were baptized and one was restored."

—O—

Hugh Boydston, 10524 Harry Hines , Blvd., Dallas, Texas, November 15: "There have been five additions here at North Hines recently—two baptized, two identified, and one reclaimed. We have others who are almost persuaded.

Twenty or more preachers have begun full or part time work in Kansas, since we began printing Kansas Evangelism, in September of last year. I have promised to preach in a meeting in Fayette, Ala., next March."
